Recorder

I started playing recorder when I was seven - I started to go to our local "School of arts". This school year is the 11th year that I play recorder. It is also my final year and I will have a graduation concert with a fellow graduate.

I have taken part in several competitions both alone and with an ensemble and have always got into the third round ("the regional round"). The competitions in our country have four rounds (the school round, the local round, the district round and the national round, in which students of a particular music instrument (from schools of arts) from all of the Czech Republic compete.

Once (with an ensemble  - cello, harpsichord and three recorders) we were second in the national round. That is an achievement that I am very proud of because the competition was very strong.

I have also been on several courses and a recorder summer camp.
