Chemistry
Chemistry is one of my less favourite subjects. But using the computer programs and online tests was quite fun.
My parents bought me a "Chemical laboratory" - a big box full of the tools needed for experiments. I enjoyed doing experiments very much. For example using red cabbage as a pH indicator or separating flour from sugar was fun.
The box also contains four chemical substances - copper sulfate, tartaric acid, sodium carbonate and potassium iodide. Some of the experiments were very simple - like trying to mix oil and water. Others were more interesting and some were even quite practical. For example there directions for making glue out of flour and water or how to make candles from soap. Most of them serve to illustrate facts about metals, electricity etc.
This is the Chemical laboratory:
I also used textbooks and online tests. We have a lot of textbooks. This one is an overview of high school chemistry:
These are our computer programs. They were my most important learning resource because they allowed me to practice what I had been learning.
And probably the most interesting book of all - with pictures of nearly all the elements!
