Czech Republic
Though the Czech Republic is small, it is remarkably full of interesting and variable sights. I have been on many hikes and walks and sightseeing in the Czech Republic.
I've visited Prague many times. This for example is the National theatre. It was built in 1881 because the Czech people wanted a theatre where they could have plays in Czech - so the people gathered money to build their very own theatre. At that time all the theatres were theatres, which played in German.
However the National theatre burned down just a few days before it was supposed to open. So the people once more gathered money, rebuilt it and finally opened it in 1883.
The Prague castle is considered the biggest castle complex in the world.
Sometimes we just go for trips close to our house.
This is a photo from the ossuary in Kutná Hora - the decorations are made out of the bones of about 40 thousand skeletons! It is a bit creepy but nevertheless fascinating.
There is even an enormous chandelier entirely out of bones.
I've been on many other trips in the Czech Republic, so I just wrote about the few that popped into my head first.
Below are some videos I made from photos of various places I have been to in the Czech Republic.
